One of our qualified drillers will drill to the required depth and is taken accurately. Our automatic hammer will provide a 30″ drop of 400 lbs each and everytime. If hollow stem or casing is needed for the task, we will adapt on site for the drilling job necessary
Before the job the drill, augers, spoons and tools are washed. During the job, all augers and spoons are washed again in an alconox detergent.
For any test pit done with a mini excavator, our licensed excavator operator will dig a hole that is at least 4′ deep to follow requirements. Any job that is less than 4′ is done by hand. This service is also used to build temporary roads to access the boreholes.
We are required by the Ministry of Environment (MOE), to tag and submit a water well record within 30 days after completing the drilling of a monitoring well or piezometer installation. Our personnel will complete all the well records for well cluster forms. To reduce the cost to your client, a pdf form for owners signature can be found by clicking here. This form needs to be signed by the owner of the property for the well that will be installed. This signature ensures the MOE that the owner is aware of the wells on their property. Getting the property owner’s signature is the most difficult task when filing well records. Unfortunately on the day of the drilling if we did not receive the owner’s signature, we will simply tag each well and file a record for each.
A wash boring job can be done with BW or HW casing depending on the depth. For tasks that are needed to go to a depth of 60′ or smaller, the BW casing is used. This can be done inside (Underground parking) and outside. The HW casing can reach 150′ feet of depth and can only be used outside.
